One of the biggest questions on the mind of our new hires is housing! Where do I find it? How much does it cost? Vail Resorts offers hundreds of employees housing each season, but many or our employees decide to live in apartments and condos outside of employee housing and in some very cool towns just off the beaten path!
Vail Resorts is committed to providing eligible employees with well-maintained, comfortable and affordable accommodations. Most of our housing vouchers are allotted for employees in the entry level positions and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are hired into a tipped position, you will need to find housing on your own. You will be told whether or not the position you are applying for is eligible for housing in the application process.
Our housing ranges from dormitory style rooms to studios, but the majority of our units are furnished with two persons per bedroom and all beds are twin sized. Don’t forget to bring personal items such as electronics (TV, stereo), bedding, pots and pans and dining utensils.
You will be required to pay a $300 deposit (of which $50 is a non-refundable administrative fee) and one month’s rent at check in. Money orders, traveler’s checks, personal checks and credit cards are accepted.
